This is the BEFORE poster that the organizer started with—alongside the very busy Rock-Tober logo that needed to be incorporated in the final design. My redesigns are seen at left. Goals and constraints are discussed below. Click on any image for a lightbox display.

  • Goals and Constraints: Create a poster for a national water polo tournament. Must incorporate the busy Rock-tober logo on the poster (see above).
  • Solution: Use symbols and type to make it clear at a glance that the event is about water polo. Emphasize that this is a national championship. Make the poster easily legible.
